Had an outpatient procedure done at St Marys Hospital. Got a bill from AAA, said I owe them over $700. Blue Cross says I owe $34, I called up Blue Cross and they confirmed I only owe them $34, called AAA (their window during the day to call is very short) and they agreed. I told them I wanted a corrected bill, a couple weeks later I get another bill for over $700. Damn these people.

Im going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they are incompetent and not thieves.

I spoke with them earlier today to pay my bill over the phone ($15.00 + change). VERY nice and helpful guy. Sorry about your snafu.

I know they aren't thieves, just sometimes incompetency is too much.

That is the same place that sent my bill for 34 cents to collection after never sending me anything in the mail and never trying to call me. Two other companies including the hospital had no problems reading my address from the forms I completed on admittance and getting a bill to me, but apparently they didn't want to waste a stamp for 34 cents.
