Almonds and more almonds

I am so very blessed
My BFF sent to me from her ranch in California (as in, she grew the almonds) a bunch of almond products.

I have about five pounds of each: sliced almonds, slivered almonds, whole almonds, and almond flour. I put all of the packages in the freezer until I could figure out what to do with it all.

But, to cut to the chase, what the heck do I do with almond flour? It has a denser consistency than regular flour, so can I just swap out the regular flour for almond flour is most dessert recipes?

Any suggestions?

I would think it would make good tart dough, biscotti, or cookies.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think that it's pretty damn cool that she sent almonds that were grown on her own ranch. Awesome!

Now, to cooking 'em.........
