Am I insane??

Back in like November we painted my 3 year old daughters room very similar to picture #1 --not this exactly but the same colors. The only difference is the brown ribbon in daughters room is a ribbon with a bow.

Well I have been searching for MONTHS for a bed set, comforter, duvet, or quilt that I love (and is under $100) with no luck. I am looking for something pale pink that is feminine but not babyish.
I keep going back to this duvet from Target and feel like I am INSANE :jameo: for even considering white in a three year old room. She is now allowed food in there but does occasionally have a sippy with water. Despite that I need someone to tell me if I am crazy and should just keep looking for something else.

insane yes!
I'd never put white in a toddler's bedroom. What about something like this. It is still little girlish and goes with your colors

I like that one. I was thinking something along the lines of that as opposed to just plain white.

It is actually not all white. Target did not have a close up option but there is pink thread embroidery all over it.
I do like the other set but that just looks too teen/grown up. I wanted something little girl, yet not babyish. Yes I knowI am SO picky. Hence taking over six months to pick something out to begin with :ohwell:

i would get the white one and let her decorate it with her own pink hand prints use water base acrylic paint it dries fast and is stays on you can wash it and dry it and it won't wash out...or stencil a design on it....make it fun with the colors you want ...it will be fun for both and perfect for her room..

i know it sounds crazy but it would be fun and could be kept forever...same as painting a tee shirt but painting your own decor...

At this rate, she's going to be old enough to pick out her own bedding before you buy it! :lmao:

home decorating tip #1

dont paint first... Find your perfect bedding and window treatments before you paint. Its easier to match the paint to the bed spread, than to match the spead to the paint.
