Judging from the 70000 or so at fedex field today singing Hail To The Redskins over and over and over and over and over again, nope! The post game tailgate was sweet!

I was able to watch the 1st half then had to keep an eye on the fox sports game tracker at work. :ohwell: The security cameras did catch a sweet TD dance after the pick 6.:dye:

The Redskins totally humiliate the Saints?
47-14

Was there, on the field for the whole thing. Something to be said for sitting up in the stands above the action. Field level is hard to follow the action but seeing and hearing the hits is cool, makes ya wonder how badly those guys hurt for the following week before the next game.

It amazes me how they take those hits.

Are you media? I know you have to now people to get pre game field passes, but how do you get to stay on the field the entire game? Thats the only place I havent seen a game from, but I like being able to see plays develop so I wouldn't want to be on the field unless I was playing still , now im way too old and slow lol I sit in 204 row 3

They hurt like they've been in a car crash. 20 or 30 of them. That week.

So, it is time to go way overboard and start up the band wagon?

On the one hand, the Saint's are awful. On the other, absent the 7 or 8 drops, the Skins were not destroyed last week by the Pats.

On the one hand, the Saint's are awful. On the other, this team did get payback over the Rams, beat the Eagles, gutted out a record come back against Tampa Bay and did destroy a Saint's team that does have a healthy Drew Brees.

On the one hand, the Saint's, Ram's, Bucs, even the Eagles, are mediocre teams, at best. On the other. The Skins DID beat them.

On the one hand, Cousins did light up a lame Saint's team with a perfect QB rating. On the other, there have only been 13 perfect QB ratings, period, since they started tracking them.

Kirk DID lead a heroic comeback. He DID get it done against the Eagles. He IS getting, clearly, better. And, to be a playoff contender, you DO have to beat the teams you can and should beat. On the other, we had no chance against the Giants, Jets and certainly didn't challenge the Pats much.

That said, we get an unbeaten Panthers next up so the wondering won't last long. Even if we lose, IF it's competitive, we then get Giants at home, Cowboys, Bears, Bills, and finish at Eagles and at Cowboys. Not a cakewalk but not the toughest schedule in the league either.

So, these nest two, Carolina and the Giants, maybe not start washing and waxing and filling her up but can at least start to consider taking the tarp off, shake off some dust, stick the keys in and at least see about maybe changing the oil and seeing if it will start?

Larry,
has anyone ever told you that you tend to meander? also you only have two hands, I suspect that you may have had your shoes off and mistakenly have counted your feet.

The Falcon game was ripe for the picking. Dolphins aren't a good team either. Had either or both of those games turned out different then the conversation would be much different. That is what is great about the NFL. Last night the mighty Bengals laid an egg.

Go Rams!
Add this team to the list of Mediocres

The Redskins. If the Skins were so good, they would be 9-0, like the panthers. I admit, your list of teams is accurate. Saints barely had a chance sunday, Bucs just aren't a good team even with Jameis Winston at QB, Rams haven't had luck since the Greatest Show On Turf era, and the Eagles went south when they traded Foles and possible draft picks for Bradford. Neither team has gotten much done. Bradford injured and Foles benched in favor of Case Keenum. Sunday's matchup vs. Panthers will likely end with the Panthers being 10-0 and the Skins at 4-6. Cam Newton will be too much for the Skin's (nonexistant) defense.
