AMD Turion X2 Processor

I've not heard of these processors before. Anyone know anything good/bad about them? I had an Intel Pentium processor is most computers I've had, and remember AMDs first coming out were kind of "scary" I guess because they were new. Any feedback? :shrug:

A friend of mine has that in his HP laptop. It's smooooooooookin fast!!

I like AMD.

They are AMD laptop/mobile CPU. They are ok, not as fast as the new Intel mobile CPU, but they get the job done.

They are AMD laptop/mobile CPU. They are ok, not as fast as the new Intel mobile CPU, but they get the job done.

I used to prefer AMD but lately I'm more a fan of Intel because they just seemed to continue improving when AMD hit a dry spell.

Im rocking a Q6600 in my desktop right now.
Nothing like Intel quad core power!
