So I submitted a clip fo my kids from last fall to AFV and after the initial paperwork, prescreening over the phone etc we finally recieved the call that our clip will be on the show this SUNDAY!!! We are all very excited. I never thought the clip would air even though we thought it was funny.

Our two kids are in the clip, our daughter (age 4 at the time) is explaining a picture she drew on her Doodlepro of her little brother who is dancing naked in the background (he was 2 and potty training at the time). If you happen to catch the show, that one is ours! They didn't tell us what segment it will be on, but the audio is important so I wouldn't think it would be on a musical montage... if I had to guess it would be part of the naughty file.

AFV is pretty tame, they will blur out anything "naughty", it is one of the few true family shows out there.

I may not be able to watch it. Channel 7 is missing closed captioned for past few weeks.

Metrocast said they are having problems with the local tower and trying to fix it.

Any chance Metrocast has another ABC affiliate in their lignup? If so, you might try that if the problem is just with Channel 7 and not ABC.

Baby parts

When we submitted the video we thought of putting a fig leaf on the "private" boy parts, but honestly, he is moving so fast in the clip that you can't really see anything and I know AFV will be putting something over the parts. I can't forward a clip since it technically belongs to ABC now, but it will be online after the show airs on abc.com.

I am just glad that I have something interesting for the Christmas letter this year.

I don't know. I already checked all of the local channels. Some channels are missing closed captioned, some are messed up, disappearing, etc. I can't even watch my favorite shows without getting frustrated about the closed captioned issues.

Other channels such as Discovery Times, Nick, Disney, Hallmark, Lifetime, etc. have no problems with the closed captioned.

Well that certainly sucks. Isn't AFV one of the only shows that you can get still get something out of since so much of it is accidents/weenie wacks/crashes/and visual stuff?

I missed it. : I DVR'ed it b/c I was giving baby a bath. When I came back to watch it the DVR messed up about 25 minutes into recording and the screen popped up for me to delete.
