Has anyone seen the remake yet? Was thinking about going tonight, but wanted a few opinions since some remakes are a little iffy.

My son went last night - he who watches horror flicks ALL the time and LIKES them - said it was one of the SCARIEST movies he's seen in a long time.

You won't catch me watching it - EVER! :boxing:

Thanks Pegster! Haven't really heard ANY reviews but the trailers look scary. Noticed they threw in a little girl instead of the pig (like in the original)..to me that was the scariest part of the movie..those red eyes in the window (yikes! still creeps me out!). Guess I will check it out! Post my thoughts tomorrow!

Okay...it wasn't too bad. Still had a little of the first one in it but added a whole new story to the original. Better special effects, but I think I like the first one better. Don't think it had as many "shock" moments either. And nobody plays a deranged person like James Brolin :yay:

Hmmm...tough call. I would say it was worth my $7. Wasn't a bad movie. There are two scenes that make ya jump!
