Andrew Jackson reportedly saw the Bell Witch or something that frightened him enough to think he saw the Bell Witch. He reportedly said something like, "I'd rather face the fury of the South again than stay another minute in that cabin."

I can read Stephen King, and I can watch all of the movies but the Rose Red, and that one with the vampires who come to the house.. eepsthroughfingers:

Wow, this has a very good cast (Donald Sutherland, Sissy Spacek) for a horror movie! It's nice to see one that doesn't star Bimbo #1 and Bimbo #2 from the latest cancelled WB sitcom.

I might just go see this, even if the reviews're pretty bad. Maybe it'll be a creepy, smart little horror movie, kind of like the work of M. Night Shyamalan (Sixth Sense, Signs, The Village).
