WASHINGTON, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Former U.S. President Bill Clinton has set his sights on becoming U.N. secretary-general. A Clinton insider and a senior U.N. source have told United Press International the 56-year-old former president would like to be named leader of the world body when Kofi Annan's term ends early in 2006.
Anybody think this is a possible way for Clinton to be in charge of the US again? Think about it. If Bush wins, Bill doesn't get the UN spot and Hillary goes for President in 2008. If Kerry wins, Bill takes charge of the UN and dictates US policy from there. After all, he'd be in a position to influence the foreign opinion of the US that Kerry puts so much stock in. Either way, the Clintons win!
I'm scared....
