Anarchists say they will vote

ATHENS, Ohio - A group of anarchists is taking an unusual step to make its political voice heard — going to the polls.

Anarchists generally pride themselves on their rejection of government and its authority. But a faction of them fed up with the war in Iraq (news - web sites) say they plan to cast anti-Bush votes this fall.

The voting debate was just one of the topics explored at the three-day North American Anarchist Convergence, which brought about 175 participants to Ohio University.

I can't help but go into hysterics over this. It is like a bunch of "non-conformists" going on a shopping spree in the Gap.

Ok..So the anarchists are going to vote because they are concerned about the state of.... GOVERNMENT!!!

Here are some other fun bits:
1) They are trying to get a guy out because they have a problem with the war... Something that is considered destabilizing to the world. Anarchists against destabilization!

2) They want people not to die in war...but they don't want any law to prevent people from dieing!

3) I love the ring of... "ANARCHISTS FOR KERRY!"

4) They have an organized convention every year... We are talking about anarchists.

It was a tough decision whether this went in politics or out here with the weird stories.
