Now, this is the left at it's finest.

To PG-13 or to R, that is the question.

The biggest sticking point in the ratings flap appears to be the use of the word "mother####er" several times by an American soldier in Iraq

Well, my word.

MPAA ratings guidelines on profanity state, "A film's single use of one of the harsher sexually derived words, though only as an expletive, shall initially require the Rating Board to issue that film at least a PG-13 rating. More than one such expletive must lead the Rating Board to issue a film an R rating...

Pretty ####ing clear there, huh?

These films can be rated less severely, however, if by a special vote, the Rating Board feels that a lesser rating would more responsibly reflect the opinion of American parents."

Can you say 'can of worms'?

On the profanity issue, Cuomo said, "Does the brief reiteration of the common but still crude 'mother' expletive make the crucial difference? Would the R be dropped if there was just one utterance instead of four? Or just two?"

Well???

How many 'mother####ers' does it take, America?

Parents make up the Ratings Board. Entertainment industry members make up the Ratings Appeals Board. It will get downgraded to PG-13, don't worry. Hell, Michael is one of their own!

I'd like to see it, just for the laughability at the ridiculousness of it.

But I won't pay a dime to watch it out of protest. If it's on free tv, fine. Otherwise, I guess I'm out of luck.

Lots of little 14 year old tards would flock to see the movie. And their parents would gladly take them to get them indoctrinated early, QUICK, before the brain stem fuses and they learn to think!

I won't see it because I try very hard not to give my entertainment bucks to liberals. I'm not even curious, so this won't be a hardship. PS, I didn't buy Shrillary's work of fiction and don't intend to buy Willie Jeff's either.

It wasn't gratuitous. It was Mike shamefully filming and recording the words of a few of our troops exercising their hard-earned right to say mother####er over and over!!

They should have made him give them 20!

Michael Moore says that hackers have been breaking into his Web site. And he says he’ll sic the law on them.

The gadfly filmmaker, who is bringing his controversial, Bush-bashing “Fahrenheit 9/11” to theaters later this week, has been showing clips of the flick on the Internet. But he says, “some very sophisticated individuals have been hacking into and shutting down our Web site. It is an hourly fight to keep it up. We are going to find out who is doing this and we are going to pursue a criminal prosecution.”

What’s more, according to Moore, a theater owner in Illinois received death threats when it was revealed he was going to show the movie. “Not a day goes by where we don’t have some new battle to fight thanks to those who are still working overtime to keep people from seeing this film,” writes Moore. “What’s their problem? Are they worried about something?”

If a Cannes audience gives a film a 20-minute standing ovation, it deserves 20 months of counterpoint from the opposition! Welcome back home, Mike!
