These people make me all-the-more thankful for Trump. He brought these fascists out of the woodwork. They've always been there, under the rug, poking their heads out from time to time. Now they are full-frontal, in our faces, unashamed to speak out about their fascist intentions. This only allows us to know who they are and how THEY will be dealt with (deprogrammed). This works both ways. Only their hatred doesn't allow them to see it.

That has to be one of the most confounding things. What is it about wanting to indoctrinate our kids, rather than actually educate them? What drive people to want to dumb down our kids, only to face the reality that they will be running our country one day. AOC is a product of this. What drives people to want their lives controlled by the government? What has caused them to have not learned one thing from history? What causes them to have this desire to give up their freedom to be replaced with a false sense of being taken care of? Seeing socialism/communism fail all over the world, and they still demand it. Watching how government control leads to suffering and death, and these progressive despots have learned nothing.
Regardless, this is apparently what the majority of Americans seem to want. I'm not convinced there's any turning back until some form of civil war straightens it out.
We’re already in the civil war. That’s both good and bad. It’s bad because no one wants war but thankfully, this is being waged in a much different manner than the last one. I hope it remains in this manner.

You posted this exact thing to me before. The latter is considered a civil political war. I'm talking about shooting and blood spilled in our neighborhoods, one side against the other. A war where even those in our military law enforcement will be forced to take sides. It's really a matter of how much the people are willing to take. We still have a country where a large population exists that remembers what this country looked like post WWII.
I am predicting the movement to socialism will accelerate exponentially if democrats gain full control of our government. This will empower the likes of the "The Squad". They will take over policy and enact laws that will not only put their socialist agenda in full speed, they will shut down opposing voices, and ensure they never lose an election again.
I think you might be thinking of someone else....

What causes people to bring punishment on themselves? Allowing your child to be indoctrinated with leftist/fascist ideals can only result in all of us falling to that fascism. It's not only the kids, it's the adults that allow it to happen and the teachers that teach it. Why would they want to act in a way that would only result in all of us losing our freedom? Sorry Vrai... it confounds me that people have become this ignorant is our so-called "civilized society".

I try not to reduce people to the lowest common denominator. I have a cousin who served about 30 years in the FBI. He spoke several languages. Most of his service was in foreign countries. One of the smartest people I know. And a flaming Trump hater. He could see not one good thing in Trump. He had retired long before Trump ran for president. But, perhaps his sentiments was part of the culture that exists in the FBI. I never asked him any questions to avoid any change of an argument.
But, that plays into my confoundedness. How can someone so smart be so blind to good things people do, even though they disagree with on a fundamental level. How do "intelligent" people become so unintelligent when they come across someone that say things that make them feel uncomfortable, resulting in hating that person? Hate is the most unintelligent behavior humans have.
