Yes it has. It confounds me how Germans got sucked into accepting fascism. It confounds my why the Jews, who outnumbered the Nazis, didn't take up arms against them. Just because those things happened, doesn't mean they should just be viewed as "this has happened, yous shouldn't be confused about it". Those things happened, and here we are, facing them again. Not learning the lessons of history is just a strange behavior in humans that I have a hard time grasping. It only took me one time to touch the hot stove to never touch it again.

Maybe it's just part of our DNA. The human race had been ruled over by kings, pharaohs, emperors, dictators, despots, etc... for far longer than having representative government, and recognizing freedoms of the people. Maybe the thousands of years of being ruled over has been built into our DNA to migrate towards that. While you say "it doesn't confound me when fascists behave like fascists", I'm asking what causes them to be fascists in the first place? What caused this thinking? Why are you and I different in our thinking than them?

Simply stating "they are what they are because of what they are, and I am what I am because of what I am" isn't much of an explanation for me.

For every you, there are millions of not-yous.

Why are there men who rape infants?
Why are there women who allow it and sometimes do it themselves?
Why do women stay with a man who beats them?
Why do people torture animals to death?

Because, that's why.

I can't personally relate to that sort of thinking or behavior, but it doesn't confound me.

Why do people support their oppressors? Because they enjoy being oppressed. It makes them feel safe and comfortable. It's literally that simple.

Some media person yesterday tweeted that "California doesn't deserve this" referring to King Gavin. I replied, sure they do. They voted for him, and if an election were held tomorrow they would vote for him again.

Why? Because they like it.

Why do kids like Socialism? Because to days children have been given everything without working for it.
They believe that is the way it should be.
Why haven't they learned from History? Because history isn't taught today nor is Civics.
What history is taught has been altered by the Socialists and Communists liberal turds running our education today
Will Socialism accelerate? Of course, why do you think they want our guns.
Do you see them going into black neighborhoods where black are killing each other every day and taking their guns.?
They are not against the killings. The killing and the abortions of millions of blacks is in their plan, but the blacks cannot figure that out.
They want our guns because they want us defenseless against their move to destroy our country.

Why would anyone but a mental defective vote against low fuel prices, low taxes, Jobs for Americans not for illegals.,Vote for Government health care,
Vote for a senile old man and his strumpet.Vote for a man who bribed another country and had his drug addict son made rich by corruptly selling the Vice Presidency. I cannot find a sane person in my community who voted for Biden.

I’m watching the “between the wars” episodes and freaking out — yep, this is happening now, and this is going on, etc. I almost need a drink after each episode to calm myself.

Plus the Germans had no experience nor appetite for republican-style democracy. All they ever knew were princes, kings, and emperors. It was drilled in them for centuries to respect and blindly follow authority figures.
