My uncle stuck a bobby pin in one when he was a boy. :lmao: The doctor said it was a good thing he didn't separate the pin and stick a part in each side of the socket. :dead:

I was leaving my son with my mother for a night out with my hubby. I was not even out the door when we heard this loud BANG!!!! I was like WTH?? We ran into the other room to see my son sitting on the floor with tin snips and the wire from my mothers wall clock dangling where it had been cut into!!! :faint:

3 or 4 sounds too young  I remember at least a couple kids trying this in highschool...one did it in class :roflmao:
Why do you think outlet covers were invented? After they turn about 3 or 4, they can pop those suckers right off anyway.

Good point. I just found it crazy picturing a 3 year old putting a paper clip in there...but thinking about it more, they will pretty much put anything...anywhere they can find that it fits :lmao:

Okay this wasn't my proudest moment as a kid but it happened.

My brothers kept telling me to put a bobby pin in the wall socket. Well needless to say I did. The outcome was I burned 3 fingers, my thumb (all 2nd degree), caught a blanket on fire and got knocked on my ass and they are the only parts I remember. I did wake up about 2 mins after the fact to 2 pissed off parents and all my brothers and sisters laughing at me...
