I was watching MTP yesterday, and there was a debate on immigration policy between a senator and a congressman. No big deal there, but then when the debate started it was between Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Rep. Charlie Norwood (R-GA)! Two Republicans slamming each other on Bush's immigration policy! Where was the "loyal opposition party" member to offer what the Democrats think? Lindsey Graham is number 2 on the Republican Media Whore list (behind McCain) but what was Norwood thinking?
And more importantly, what was our RNC leadership doing letting two Republicans go at it on Meet The Press during an election year? They should have said okay to one or the other, provided a prominant Democrat was on to offer what they would do, instead of allowing the Dems to hide in the background while these two pinheads duked it out.
