I don't have anything other than a simple flip phone and intend to keep it that way; owning a technology company for almost 25 years has had the odd effect of making me somewhat "tech averse" when it comes to my personal life..I'm the guy that gets all balled up trying to operate the TV remote, in other words.


But I gotta brag on my oldest son (just turned 18). He and some of his techno-geek buddies developed some kind of app for Androids that makes it easier to access/use/manage VEVO downloads. Thats all I know about it so don't ask for specifics.:killingme

But anyway, they just passed the 100K download mark with the app and the head honchos at VEVO took notice and want to have a talk with them about some big$$ to make it a VEVO 'product' and continue to develop if further.

How cool is that? My retirement might have just been moved forward a bit..LOL.:dye:

Mrrrowr...mrrrowwrr.... (cats look around like WTF?)... mrrroowr, mrrrowrr, mrowwrrr... (cats circle around furiously trying to figure out who is in the house).... mrrrroowwrrr... (smart cat finally gives you the evil eye while dumb cat sniffs the tablet, scratches at the case, etc... trying to free the trapped kitten)

Shoot..I'm just the bystander. I didn't even know he was writing apps for droids....I only ever see the more "visible" stuff, like when he runs out of paintballs and money at the same time, or needs an ignition coil for his pocket bike....:whistle:
