Android music player

Recommendations? The player that came with my phone stutters, shreds, and grinds to a halt. If I'm not quick enough, I have to pull the battery because it locks up my phone.

Go to the application manager and find the specific app. Click on the app and remove updates. You could have gotten an incompatible update, or a bad one. Once the next update rolls out it should automatically update. Had to do it with Google maps a while back.
