This is a surprisingly good book, and pretty much solidifies that she's the loon you thought she was. Andrew Morton tries to portray her as vulnerable and sympathetic, but...nah, she's just a loon.
The surprise hero in her saga is...Jon Voight. He's been painted in the Angelina-friendly press as this bad dad who abandoned her and her brother, make unfortunate remarks about her publicly, and was a nutbag himself. But he comes across in the book as loving, attentive and generous, while his spoiled vulture children and ex-wife live off him, crying poor-mouth, demanding more and trashing him to the media.
Angelina has an established pattern of stealing other women's men, then dumping them after a torrid highly public romance. Timothy Hutton, Mick Jagger, Jonny Miller, Billy Bob Thornton - and yes, Brad Pitt. All belonged to another woman, either married or engaged, when Angelina came along.
She doesn't have a real sense of commitment, and we see that in how she gets a new child when the newness has worn off the old one. It's an interesting psychological profile, not just some fluffy celeb bio.
