St Mary’s Animal Welfare League (SMAWL) is having its 2nd Annual Animal Fair at the St Mary’s County Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 13th from 9 AM to 3 PM. This year's events will include various animal demonstrations, exhibits and speakers, crafts, pet/horse vendors, food vendors, pet shows and contests, music, lots of children's activities, a silent auction and more. In addition there will be a Pet Parade, Pet Blessing, and Parade of Horse Breeds. All animals are welcome to join the Pet Parade and Blessing.

Vendor space will be available for $25 each. Fair sponsorships range from $100 to $1000.

If you are interested in participating as a sponsor, vendor, or donating to the silent auction, or if you have any questions, please contact Maureen Bernard at bernsm@erols.com.

Sounds fun, I always send money to them, I didn't know they had anything like this, I'll be there, and so will my dog. Thanks for the info.

We might go, but only if they put the band far far away from the building with the dog groups.

That was the only complaint with last years. You couldn't even talk to people when the band played they were so loud.

Yes, SMAWL is in full agreement that there will be no band this year. Any music that we do have will be acoustical and will not be so loud that one cannot hear oneself think. Thank you for your input.
