Animal rights activists a top law enforcement priority: FBI

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Extremist animal rights groups like the Earth Liberation Front and the Animal Liberation Front pose a serious domestic terror risk and are a top law enforcement priority, a senior FBI official said.

I'll bet ALF is actually code for the "Allah Liberation Front." They're the ones who throw birds up into the paths of jet airliners, causing bird strike damage to engines and other important parts of the aircraft, possibly causing them to lose control for short periods of time. They are developing plans for double, triple, and quadruple bird strike actions against American and United Airlines.
