Annapolis City Council passes bill banning gas powered leaf blowers

Effective Dec 30. I would like to see the state pass ax similar law about lawnmowers and all other gas powered equipment. We can’t trust some counties, especially in Western Maryland, to do the right thing.

The ordinance, which passed unanimously, bans the use of gas-powered leaf blowers and other items such as sound emitters to deter pests. .
