Sorry so lengthy... for me, they were good in Dunkirk but not when they moved their office to Prince Frederick. It appears as though they bit off more than they can chew. I had been seeing them since 2006 and followed them into the Prince Frederick location. I'm in the middle of some medical issues and most recently, was told to call and set up an appt for December. I go to do this and the Dr. was out the entire month of December on vacation. Then instead of having me see another dr. there, as I suggested, they decide because I work in DC I should up and abandon my current Dr. AND their PF location all together. They insisted I should now only go to their Silver Spring office instead – new location and an entirely different endocrinologist. I explained that is not close to where I live or where I work and not enroute. They didn't listen and wouldn't schedule me an appointment. Instead they kept trying to give me directions on how to get to their SilverSpring location from DC and map questing it all on the phone. I explained I'd been seeing this endocrinologist for several years and would prefer not to switch everything up and we were in the middle of things...I was basically "fired" as a patient and unfortunately in the middle of some serious medical issues. Ever since, I've been having to play quick catch up with my new endocrinologist at GW. The only thing they did do efficiently at the PF office was send a copy of my 75 page file by fax over to my new Dr. at GW, that was it. Also, if you still decide to go there, bring plenty of books to read, average wait time was no shorter than 2 hours to see a Dr. for 5 minutes no matter what time of the day. If you have labwork, it won't be reviewed until 1 minute INTO your appointment. There's soo many balls that were dropped on me since they moved to PF, its not even funny. I loved the Dr. in the Dunkirk office and staff and that’s why I tried to stick it out and follow her here as well only to be sorry I did.
I see Dr. Michael Thompson at GW now, I like them so far.
