Native Americans of Maryland
Brooklyn Park: Friday, November 8 at 11:30 am
Busch Annapolis: Tuesday, November 26 at 11 am
Kids will learn how Native Americans used local natural resources in an interactive presentation. We’ll investigate friction fire making methods, tool use and communication techniques used by some of Maryland’s earliest inhabitants.

Mountain Road: Tuesday, November 12 at 6:30 pm

Join us for a fascinating talk on the history of the Native American Code Talkers from both world wars presented by The National Cryptologic Museum. *Registration is required for this hybrid program to receive the zoom link for online access. For adults

Kids will find out how a wigwam stands up, how fletching helps arrows fly, how Native American people made paint and more with activities provided by educators from Jefferson Patterson Park!
