Hessian was referring to Aug 14th. The signing on the Missouri wasn't until Sept 2nd. I remember it well because I had been growing in my Moms tummy for 7 months and her jumping up and down didn't make me feel to well.

Up until last year I considered myself as a baby boomer and then discovered I was born to early to fit into the definition. Now I don't know what to call myself except oldman. Don't worry about your social security. Because of the system I retired from it may not be worth it for me to apply.

Probably wait until they made a move. Up until WWII we were still trying to cling onto that weak political idea of Isolationism.
