Annual Dog Day in the Park

Next Sunday at Gilbert Run park from 10-2 they are having a Walk in the Park day where you bring your dog and they are supposed to have doggy stuff for the dogs to do and socialize and a dog show, contests??, prizes (???) etc... it's just for the dogs and their owners, etc.... its a doggy thing, I'm thinking about bringing my dog Bailey, any other forumites going to be there with their dogs???? The dogs sure would love a day in the park.. its just for a few hours

I wasn't able to make it I plan on going to the animal day at the fairgrounds on Saturday (It is much closer to where I live).

that's ok, it was a pretty good turn out... about 70 dogs I think...all kinds!!! Bailey had soo much fun, she should sleep solid for all this week...

I will be there also with Tuggy. Granted he will be going insane with ALL the dogs there, but he is the cute boxer with the messed up ear. (It adds to his character)

I thought it was going to be rained out, and anyway, I don't think my legs could have handled it. Gawd I'm sore. I started riding my bike again. I think the DH needs to put my seat up.

It was yesterday... you would have did just fine... hope to see you next year... dogs also get free treats and bandanna, etc. Milo may have gotten a first ribbon for shortest dog this year.
