Another Accident Thread

Yesterday, PF Wal-Mart. Motorcylce Van accident.. Van pulls out of W-Mart (exit near Wendy's) parking lot and decides they have to cross all lanes and merge immediatly in the left lane (going South) Two rice Rockets in left lane, first gets by, the second gets hit on the back tire sending him out of control, across the meridian, where he and his bike seperate. Bike ends up in the woods, he ends up in the middle of the North Bound lanes.

Was wondering how the rider was doing. He was lifeflighted out, but looking at his riding partner, they were wearing about 75% of their riding gear.. Gloves, helmet and armored jacket.. and of course Jeans..

Lot of miracles in this one.. 7:45PM coming out of Wal-Mart and NO traffic heading North at the time.. he didn't follow his bike into the trees.. etc..

We came out of Wal-Mart just in time to see the Helo land and take him away. Little silent prayer for him as they were taking off..

This is why I worry about my husband on his bike. He always tells me I'm being a freak and that he's so careful, but it's not his skills that concern me. It's the idiot who's going to hit him because he's not paying attention or doesn't see him. Scares the crap out of me.

I came out of the Walmart at the same time. I figured there had to be a bike in the accident because of all the bikes sitting around the site. I saw people sitting on top of their SUVs and stuff trying to see what was going on. I hope the rider is okay.
