Another Beagle

Someone I knew Emailed me today and asked if I woudl be willing to take her 13 month old Beagle she got from the Humane Society. Apparently she can't deal with 2 dogs and 3 kids (like I can but anyhow.) I have one Beagle...has anyone adopted one from a Humane Society before? Other then making sure this dog gets along with my other dog and making sure the darn thing isn't some attack dog ( :lmao: ) is there anything I should look for?

Make sure it is housebroked already... I have it on good source beagles may be pretty hard to train in that area...

Just got my Beagle last Friday, won't say accidents haven't happened but for the most part my dog is good with holding it. Unless he has a secret hot spot he does his business and then cleans up :lmao:

I've heard that too but with our beagle it wasn't true. She learned very fast. Thank goodness.

We have a 2 year old beagle. She gets along very well with my shepard/husky mix and my wifes min pin. She was very easy to house train. However the 18 month chewing phase really took a toll. But if you already have one you probably already know about that. If not don't worry they do get over it...eventually. (15-24 months I've been told)
