I don't know but my son is not going to go to public school around here that's for sure...

Private school teachers do not even have to have teaching certification. They also do not even have to be fingerprinted. Every public school teacher in the country is fingerprinted, and then records are run by the FBI. Of course, that does not help if someone has never been arrested for anything.

Actually all private school teachers and volunteers have to be finger printed now. Anyone who has direct contact with the children. This was initiated a few years ago, after the perverted priests scandal.
