Police: Man Arrested In Road Rage Incident
CHANTILLY, Va. -- A couple of days after the "McMissile" case reached resolution, police arrested a man in connection with a similar incident.
Police said that on Saturday afternoon, 29-year-old Allan Tat Le, of South Riding, started arguing with another driver in the 14700 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway. Le followed the driver, a 41-year-old man from Aldie, to Stonecroft Boulevard and pulled alongside his vehicle.
According to police, Le threw a cup of coffee through the open passenger window at the 32-year-old female passenger. After the men got into a physical confrontation, Le got back into his car and drove away.
"One vehicle apparently cut off another vehicle, and when they came to a stop, Mr. Le pulled alongside, threw his coffee cup out his window into the window of the other car," said Eddy Azcarte of Fairfax County police.
The victims called police and followed Le until police arrived, authorities said. Le was charged with one count of unlawfully throwing a missile at an occupied vehicle.
No injuries were reported, but the female passenger was covered in coffee.
