Another hate crime

How is this different than some vandal smashing cars at a regular club?

Not saying it's right or these guys deserved it - crime is crime. I just get antagonized when folks try to concoct a special name (and punishment) for the same crime, based on who the victim was.

The parking lot does not belong to the club and does not have surveillance cameras.

I think its more like someone being tired of having his lot used by others, ### or not.
Im not sure but I am willing to bet that if one of the drunks walk out of the bar/club and fall on his property while prancing back to their car, he could be sued.

maybe the happy humpers will now decide to park in the lot intended for the bar and keep off of private property.

I vote no hate crime here.

Well, there's probably a better way to get that point across than smashing up the cars.

But I vote "no hate crime" as well, unless we're going to consider ALL vandalism a hate crime. Equality, and all.

I was the victim of a hate crime once........ some import haters came through the Food Lion parking lot and decided to start beating up on import cars. When I came outside, I noticed that some idiot had kicked in my front fender. Bunch of pussy's I would love to see them do that in front of me.

Maybe the owner of the property has talked to the club on more than one occassion.
maybe the owner has also been notified that his lot was being used for lewd and nasty rump ranger activity and that as owner he could be cited for allowing it.
we just dont know the whole story, but someone does not want the butt pirates tying up to his pier if you know what I mean.

I bet the parking issue greatly goes down from here on out.

I vote no hate crime as well!!!

We also had a similar incident happen in our company parking lot off of Willows road. During a fairly bad snow day last season, 14 of 18 cars left behind by employees had their windows smashed out. Possibly a hate crime against government contractors??? :coffee:

And maybe it was punks wanting to vandalize the cars of gay people (which is what I think it is).

But neither here nor there, it's no more "hateful" just because the cars belonged to gay people. Crime is crime.
