Ok...another puppy at the shelter that was an owner surrender...10 month old lab mix..
Owner surrenders can be PTS fast if space is needed, there isn't a 'hold' timeframe like for stray dogs. Matter of fact, they can be put down before you leave the building and get back out to your car and start it up. (if the room is needed/etc).
I don't have pics, but here's the info on this little guy.

There is an awesome 10 month neutered and fully vetted, very friendly black lab mix at Tri-County. This is an owner give up so time is limited. I think we have a day or two. Please call 301-932-1713 or 800-903-1992 ASAP if you can foster or can take this dog into your group.

These owner surrenders are outrageous, don't they realize or care what happens to these dogs. We picked up a one year old shepherd mix yesterday because the owner said he (the shepherd) had killed his cats. When we picked him up he was/is the sweetest boy in the world and, perhaps, he did kill the cats because he is at least 20-30 lbs. underweight and when you're one year old and hungry cats just might look like food. I don't think he did anything of the sort, but everyone has an excuse.

Great! We thought we were going to have to start building an addition on at the farm. :huggy:

Still a good idea... then we just have to fiind you volunteers to come help you walk dogs, clean up after, etc....
