It might work out..............I have 4 females 15lbs to 70 lbs and they all get along wonderfully.

Might being a chance I'm not willing to take again. I have 5 year old and 2 year old sons and a 3 year old female pit. If a pit and a boxer get into a scuffle with a child close it won't be pretty.
