Shooting at Minneapolis Catholic church leaves 2 children dead, 17 injured
At least two children are dead and more than a dozen were injured Wednesday after a shooter opened fire during a Mass at the Annunciation Catholic School, police said.

What is it that these shootings? They seem common place vs pre-1980's, when these events were almost non-existent?
Pre-1980's, school security was almost non-existent, didn't really need it.
Guns were just as prevalent then as now, so guns are not the problem.

If I had to guess, poor parenting/family dysfunction along with not holding society responsible for there wrong doings.
Ad parents, schools, doctors and mental health services not raising the correct flags to the community.
I myself wonder if its the meds will hand out for anyone with "anxiety".

It could be, it seems when the back story comes out with so many of these shooters there always is a long term mental health problems.
My best friend with mental health issues has a row of pills that he takes. I read what a few are for, and stopped reading with Psychotropics and 20mg opiates.
I think some of it is - the dam burst somehow. Once someone did it - once - and killed people - other sick minds try it.
When I was growing up, plane hijackings happened OFTEN. Now, almost never BUT - they were uncommon until - they started. Bomb threats - at schools - were rare - and then a lot. Now - not so much.
Sounds horrible but - it’s like - “trendy”. Once it starts - people start DOING it. During the pandemic - shoving people into trains and assaulting random elderly was a trend.

#metoo is a sickness and we've seen it in pretty much all aspects of society. They start running PSAs for autism, suddenly everyone is on the spectrum. Celiac's becomes a thing, suddenly everyone is allergic to gluten. Trans, antisemitism, eating Tide Pods, and yes school shooters - they take on a fad life of their own.
They haven't identified the shooter yet but I'll bet you he fits the profile.
One could pull up to JFK and get right on and plane back then too. Sure made hijacking a lot easier.
