Tornado warning over the capitol.

Probably caused by 'russians'.

Believe it or not, we need some rain. But not a gully washer.

Watch changed to WARNING with the potential of 70mph winds and hail, primarily north end of the county.

Winds just hit. Pretty strong. Got dark.

I was outside when the wind approached. It was pretty freaky and it caused me to get my a$$ to cover.

Fairly fast moving, already south of me. Clearing now.

The worst I hit was Charlotte Hall about 45 minutes ago, wind howling, rain coming down in buckets..had to pull into WaWa and wait it out.

I got pelted with dirt and tiny rocks while walking across the parking lot to my car at 445ish, blown around too

.3 inch rain, bright sunshine now, and 20+ deer in the field.

If I may ...

Often wondered why it's always called a thunderstorm when in fact it is the lightning of the storm that causes the thunder. Shouldn't really be called a lightning storm, or a lighting and thunderstorm? Especially now since we have started to give names to much smaller storms. We must be meteorologically technically correct nowadays, right?

Darndest thing...the line split when it approached St. George's. That happens a lot...no idea why, unless it's simply God intervening because of my lifetime of good clean living.

We're getting off very easy compared to the mid-west like MO. Many places are still underwater.
