WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The U.S. Postal Service on Thursday closed 11 post offices in the Washington area as it tested a Navy postal facility that handles mail for government agencies for possible anthrax contamination

Stamps are going to cost $2.00 a piece before long so they can pay for all the added security in every post office.

:yeahthat: The cost of stamps has already gone up so much in the past 10 years, it's unreal.

"The Navy spokesman said the level of anthrax detected by the automatic equipment at the Navy facility was well below infectious levels, in the range of 100-140 spores. Infectious levels begin at about 10,000 spores. "

See what happened is those postal workers werent wearing their sweaty safety shoes at the time the mail was handled, then when one of the decided to put his shoes back on, some of the foot fungus got on his hands, which in turn ended up on some mail. Lesson learned: Issue Foot Powder to postal workers. :cheesy: :rolleyes:
