Weird as you know what.
As we were leaving the house the other day, my wife spotted a large mass of feathers on the ridge of our roof. So, I climbed up and saw the remains of a bird, probably the size of a chicken.... I dont believe it was there the day before.
Now we have several hawks around our neighborhood and some "trendy" neighbors have/had chickens.... But this wasnt a chicken.

Can anyone identify the remains by this feather?

I may be wrong but that looks like a hawk feather, especially with the size of the bird.

Likely. They have been landing on my roof regularly, where a hawk would stay towards the woods/trees.
