Hello,

I'm looking to get into dance. Ballroom, salsa.. anything romantic-ish.

My motivation: it sums up who you are and is an excellent indicator of your qualities (confidence, leadership, attentiveness, etc...). Hurt as it may at first when I klutz around, being a good dancer means being a good lots-of-things. As such, I intend to swing for the fence on this and rock out at this art as a hard-and-fast self-improvement method.

Not line-dancing, but slow-with-partner type. It becomes a whole different game when there's a gorgeous lady around. Any guy who reads this knows how easily one can "freeze up" and how difficult it can be to "be cool" around a pretty girl. To do this at a bar or work or supermarket is one thing -- to do so on the dance floor is something else. Dance floor is my next goal.

The post and my screen name is a bit gender-neutral, so in case this matters: I'm a guy.

Any advice/tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ballroom dancing

Hello,I'm a Ballroom dance instructor in the Calvert County area. And I understand your frustration. I know many men who just want to be able to say yes to a dance and feel good or feel more confident in their dancing to even ask let alone not freeze on the dance floor. check out the classified section and go to service directory and click health beauty and fitness. There is some info on dance lessons and a website for more info. This Parks and Rec class would help you out with the dance moves and confidence you need on the dance floor.
