Any running enthusiasts?

I'm looking for a running partner, for 45 minute runs on Tues, Wed, and Thurs. Time of day is somewhat flexible, but prefer to run in the early morning hours (start somewhere between 4:30 and 5:30, for example).

I'm training for a marathon in November, and also do long runs on Saturday mornings. I try to find scenic trails with not too much traffic. This Saturday, I will be doing 11 miles on a path in DC.

If anyone is interested, let me know.

First of all, I applaud your efforts and all that jazz. I wanna know, has anyone ever seen a runner smiling? They all look so miserable while they are running...

Generally I run all around Waldorf.

I haven't really kept track of my pace, but I'm guessing I'm running about a 9-10 minute pace.

This is my first marathon, so I'm trying to do it right and not go overboard!

Ugh, I just PM'd you, but I'm down in Lexington Park. That would be too much of a trip; check out this running club, though: http://www.cbrcmd.org/

While many may live down here, I would bet there are others near you.

I am about your pace. Maybe we can do a long run together sometime.

I run 3 miles/5 days a week. I run in Mechanicsville. The site Flyingdog gave you is a good place to start. You could even check out Sport and Health Club in Waldorf. I think they use to have a board where people would put up notices for running partners.
P.S. Kwillia is right.....bugs in the mouth are a hazard of running (so are bugs in the eyes) :lmao:
