Any stores have corned hams?

I have just been to 5 supermarkets in Lexington Park - no one has any corned hams left? Anybody know who might have one?

We got two on order from Mckay's. Picking them up tomorrow night to make stuffed ham with. Around here ya just about can't wait till the last minute and hope to find one.

I just stuffed one that my husband won at the Turkey Shoot last week. It was about 27 pounds or so.

If you're waiting until now to find a corned ham for Thanksgiving, good luck, but McKay's is a good place to start.

I know - I don't normally wait this long - but I've never heard of every single store selling out and I've lived here 30 years.....I've tried every Foodlion, McKays, Giant, Safeway, Shoppers, Nicks, BJ's in St. Mary's and Calvert!

Call Mckays and see if it's to late to order. Mine are supposed to be delivered tomorrow evening.

I went through this about 3 years ago and got in the habit of ordering ahead of time.

Just made a call and was told Leonardtown Mckay's got a truck today with them on it. The Great Mills store gets them tomorrow. That is where I reserved mine from.

I called a friend who works there. But you should still be able to reserve one from the next truck.

I asked if they were expecting any and they said no...... I'm still gonna stop by Great Mills tomorrow afternoon and see..just in case.

This really stinks because I have family coming from Pennsylvania and was hoping to give them a taste of Southern Maryland. I can't believe the stores around here.....frustrating.....

Well if all else fails you can buy some already made by the pound from Chief's.

There is a shortage on supply this year for 2 reasons. First, Smithfield company was bought out by China a few months ago. Second, the government shutdown caused fewer inspectors.

Smithfield was bought out by a Chinese Company and they are shipping a vast majority of their hams overseas where they can make more money.
