just inside White Sands yesterday around 6:30? Police, 3 ambulances, cars, bikes, people everywhere. Anyone?

I don't go through there much at all but we drove down about a month ago just to see Veras (we'd eaten there once about 17 years ago). There were kids everywhere.

A gazillion kids!!! And either they're all stupid or their parents don't love them because they don't wear jackets in the winter and they ride their bikes in the street all summer. We almost nailed one the other day. I don't think I'd ever recover from something like that. :bawl:

My kids enjoyed Gilligan's Island. :lol: Only time we ever went there. I couldn't believe how built up White Sands is. Houses every 2 feet. Once you get down to the water, they get a little further apart. I need space.

I agree. We're close to the water and have a pretty big yard, but our neighbors are still too close for comfort. We were spoiled for a few years with privacy but now the lady across the street who was never home sold to a guy who is always home, the owner of the vacant rental next door finally got a renter and the wooded lot next to us is being cleared for a new house. They're taking every single tree!! :bawl: And now I can't get dressed in front of the window! :bawl: :bawl:

I'm ready to move.
