Anybody ready to get spooked?

I have 2 new photos of some very creepy, Halloween-esque houses...

... but also some shots from my new 'hood, which are not spooky at all.

Thanks. I have been preoccupied over the past few months, most importantly with moving to Vermont. (I'm surprised anyone realized I was gone, really.)

I now live on a beautiful mountain in a fantastic village in central VT, and pretty much everything is awesome. This is exactly the kind of remote location I wanted; I feel so much more comfortable here than I ever did in MD. (Did you see those photos?)

And now we're getting ready for winter. Just two days ago we had about an inch of snow on the ground; now it's warmed up... but the fluffy stuff will be back. I don't expect winter to be a total joy, but at least winter will be winter instead of the mild blandness that So MD gets.
