Anyone else having SPIDER issues?

I've been having a terrible time with spiders lately. It all started last week. I was laying in bed with hubby, he was asleep, and I was watching TV. I was laying on my side, and caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of my eye. I chalked it up to being a sissy, and continued watching TV. I saw it again, and this time I turned my head, only to find a Brown Recluse sitting on my freakin' shoulder. I flicked it, and missed, then flicked it again. It landed on the floor. I jumped out of bed, turned on the light, and started crawling around, to find it. Needless to say, I havent been able to sleep in my own bed, in 5 nights now. I had hubby spray the bedroom, I stripped all the blankets, took everything out from under the bed, vacuumed behind pictures on the wall, moved furniture and vacuumed under that etc.

Today, while downstairs doing laundry, I killed at least 7 spiders. One, was a HUGE black widow. The rest were smaller red/brown ones.

Anyone else having a problem with this?

:yikes: It's either time to move or get an exterminator. I will leave the choice up to you! :shocking:

Im also the one, who posted the pic of the big brown hairy spider with an egg sac, last week or so. I can handle bugs, in general, but spiders....I can't even sleep knowing they are in my house.

It's really creeping me out. When we first moved here (owings) from Annapolis, about 5 yrs ago..I talked to the guy who did the termite inspection. He welcomed me to the area, and told me about black widows and brown recluse spiders. Told me to be careful around the shed etc.. He told me to spray the inside perimiter and outside perimiter of the house, anually, with a product called Bayer. Well, we did that, and really didnt have too much of a problem. I guess this yr we waited too long, and I swear they are horrible.
Seeing them in the house, and squashing them, is one thing. Having one on you, while in your bed....a whole different story.

I HATE spiders - but I do apologize anytime I step on one (and I do everyone I can)... don't know why...

There is a food source and that is why they are there. Get rid of your bugs.

The Brown Recluse is not native to Maryland. An exterminator should know that.

I've only seen 2 spiders since we bug bombed about a month ago... if I see more than that I'm bug bombing again... I shall bug bomb until I see none. They can live outside my house and eat the bugs outside... inside the house is MY domain!

I deal with a spider MUCH better than I do one of those damn crickets. They are pure evil!

Thank you! I've stated that a couple times on the boards but people seem to think otherwise.

They are so mis-identified people believe they are as fluent as black widows. There are not enough in Maryland to where they are running around people's houses.

What about all those people that have close encounters with Water Moccasins in Maryland....:lmao:

That's another creature that does not inhabit Maryland.
