NOPE........

You should have made a poll and asked how many have dated outside of the species.........

I haven't done that either, by the way......

I've dated outside my race - I just like who I like. I notice race like I notice obese people, meaning it doesn't register unless the person makes a big deal out of it.

Many times. And outside my "age range" and any other restrictions people might create for themselves. It's certainly interesting.

LOL i never realized that....It came from something I was watching on the history channel about shipwrecks or pirates, I forget which one but it was an old letter that one of the guys on the ship wrote about a "dark river"..

Let's see... my husband is a total SMC guy, family came over on the Ark & Dove. Me... I'm a mutt. My maternal Grandmother (who is still very much alive) came over from Norway when she was 4. My maternal grandfather is 1/2 Italian & 1/2 Swedish. My paternal grandparents were German, English and Scotish. They came over in the mid-1850's and settled in Jamestown, New York. Also famous for the birth place of Lucille Ball.

My parents, dad especially, were very vocally against interracial dating. I never seriously considered it, because I knew they'd never accept it. By the time I became secure enough with myself to say "screw it" and date who I wanted, I'd developed a thing for blonde hair and blue eyes....

I got a bunch of blonde-haired, blue-eyed kids now.

I took it as Teddy was a dog and she's glad that she didn't have a son by him. But again I could be wrong!
