Anyone have Earthlink dialup?

I do and I got a notice of updates.

One of the updates was an "accelerator" which claims it can make the internet up to 5x faster.

I installed it while I was reading the forums and it logged me out of the forums and wouldn't let me back in. Everytime I tried logging in, it said "Thank you for logging in. . ." but would return me to the screen showing me logged out.

I turned off the accelerator option and everything is fine. the forum doesn't even show me as having logged out.

I have it at home with the accelerator turned on. I haven't noticed any problems and it does speed up the loading of pages.
