Anyone know of a good bankruptcy lawyer?

It's a long story but I need to find a good bankruptcy lawyer in the southern Maryland area. I'm humiliated enough so please try to refrain from judging me. I've already beat myself up over it, trust me. This is a very personal matter and I'm not proud of having to go to these lengths. I just went through a messy divorce and I'll be paying the price for a very long time to come.

If you are too embarrassed to post suggestions in the open forum, please send me a message privately. I'm sure if you've been in this situation, it's not something you'd want to share with all of southern Maryland.

Any help finding a lawyer would be so much appreciated. Thanks.

Sawyer and Mayberg do that (I think), not sure but you can call the office.

Dan Guenther in Leonardtown advertises that he does this. I do not know anything about him. Good luck.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. It does seem like many people are starting to feel as though they have no other choice but to file, which is sad. I never thought I'd be in this situation. I always paid all my bills, was never late on anything. Oh well, I'm sure it will eventually be ok. I'm thankful noone has said anything negative, at least they haven't typed it if they've thought it. :lmao: I was the first one to judge people who I didn't feel were responsible, now look at me. Just goes to show me that bad things do happen to good people.

You'll be fine... This can be a good learning experience for 'ya! Lots of folks have gone through it and become better fiscal managers in the end. It's just a second chance. Nothing to be ashamed of!

Bankruptcy lawyer in southern Maryland

I believe Dan Guenther now has two office in southern Maryland. I just received a Valpak in the mail today.

Many people are having to resort to bankruptcy in these unfortunate times/economy. My brother had to do a chapter 13 right after 24yrs of military service with a wife and 3 kids. Hang in there and good luck! :buddies:
