Anyone listening to DC101

A 19 year-old male is spouting off about his g/f of 3 years who has been cheating on him w/his best friend for the last 5 months. He's threatening suicide, but wanted to call one last person to talk him out of it.

Someone answer me this... I used to be able to listen to the DC101 live stream at work and am no longer able to, but, I am able to listen to KFOG and Z104. Any ideas? I work on base.

the IT folks may have blocked it if it was a high-traffic, bandwidth sucker from others on base. The others may not be blocked b/c they're not as popular. :shrug:

NMCI blocks the ports that the streams use. It's just a matter of time before they get to the other streams. It is considered a waste of bandwidth, as it is not being used for work related purposes.

I thought about that. I am wondering if anyone else can get it or are they blocked too.

If it is an NMCI issue, I don't think I can call the help desk and demand my DC101.

Of course KFOG is unpopular, it's a San Francisco station.

Sure you could ... call 'em up, tell them you work in PsyOps and missed a critical discussion on suicide this morning and that it's an absolute occupational necessity.

I don't think the suicidal guy was telling the whole story about his life. He said the court forbade him from visiting his child until she's 18, although he claimed he never hurt his girlfriend. Why would the court do that unless he was a danger to his girlfriend and/or their child? I don't know anything about restraining orders, so I don't have the answer.

I kinda thought the same thing. Why is he not granted supervised visitation? And, was that his boss that came out to him at the end of it?

All he kept saying was that they said no and that the judge said it wouldn't be changed either. He admitted to having a temper but never w/ his g/f. According to him they only had their arguments but never physical. He sounded like he wasn't all there.

I heard that part.

He must be full of crap for the judge to deny him ANY access to his daughter whatsoever.
