Showed up at our house a few minutes ago. Very friendly and well trained. Found him swimming in the pond. Seems to be lost. Callaway area.

What color is he? IIRC you live down my street. A neighbor got a mostly black, intact German Shepard for his kids/grandkids earlier this year and lets him roam everywhere. They live somewhere on Roh Ranch Lane, if you want to check there.

I live at the end of Buck Redman. Sounds like the dog. This is the first time I have ever seen him. How can someone let such a beautiful dog like this run loose. He is so affectionate!!!!

I guess I will walk him down the road and see if he can find his home from there.

Thanks for the info

No problem. I was going to keep him in April-ish before I knew who the owner was. He was just running around on 249 in traffic and Bob at the gas station brought him in. But since I live right across the street, that could've been awkward

I just took him home. The owner said that he has been missing for over a month. He didn't seem that happy to see him either.

Wow. Doesn't surprise me though. I heard about a month or two ago that he was trying to sell him  I hear him barking now. Next time he comes over, I'll find a better home for him. He's gorgeous.

I offered to have german shepherd rescue take him, but he said he wanted to keep him.

Sure is! Had the windows open and I heard him barking all night. Got nervous when Iu heard gunshots but I guess they were a hunter farther away.

we shall chat about this issue again soon.

so how is the pup??

When I returned him (now I am sorry I did), the next door neighbor seemed annoyed that the dog was back. He was very rude to me when I asked him if he knew who owned the dog. I feel so bad for returning the dog to them, but I didn't know. Hopefully he will get loose again and come back to my house. I can't keep him myself ( I have 2 dachshunds and an English Springer) but I can find him a decent home.

PM me your number and I will do that. I am not at the house right now (husband is having total knee replacement this morning at Anne Arundel, but I will be home Wednesday). My brother-in-law is staying at the house to take care of the dogs and he is keeping a lookout for the dog.

I guess I should have mentioned the other details before you took him back  I wasn't sure if it was the right dog. But I'm MORE than certain you or I will see him running around in no time.

ICit, she's doing great. She's stopped trying to hump me so I guess that means she's finally accepted me as pack leader :lmao:
