Two times last weekend I looked up from my work in the garage to see a large brown lop-eared rabbit hopping up my driveway in California. The wife saw him again several times this week in the yard. He's a big fellow! If anyone is missing him, I will try to trap him for you. Otherwise, I'm just going to let him roam free. We put some pellets and water out for him....

Yeah, let him enjoy his freedom until some dog ends it.

Lop rabbit

Please contact a rescue organization, don't let it meet an untimely death. I'm sure someone just let it lose, like the 3 guinea pigs I found outside. I got one, don't know what happened to the other two.

When we lived on Chingville we had a visit from an Easter bunny. On Easter morning the neighbor that lived behind us through the woods called to see if we got a visit from the Easter Bunny. We thought he was just being a silly old man...and sure enough, there was a white bunny in our back yard. We caught it and kept it for about a week...and finally figured out that it belonged to some people down the road. I asked if they wanted it back, and they were nonchalant and kinda "eh, ok" about it..so we kept it. They had let it out and didn't want it back.
