No I had a slow computer, and it was a few years ago. That computer actually got fried when my house got hit by lightning!
I think I have a faster computer now, but the graphics card really needs an upgrade. Sometimes when I play games they will freeze the computer up after awhile.

It's not heat. I had that issue once and took it to Quality OC repair and never had that prob again. I like to play games like CIV, which makes my computer freeze towards the end.

Although I'd be careful updating those ........ never through MS Updates Unless they are Intel Video Drivers .... for ATI of Nvidia I get them right from the chip maker ......... or video card maker [ ATi and Nvidia make graphics processors - and sell them to companies that design boards around them ]

I think I have the Original and a couple of expansions. I'd have to look. But I liked the game pretty well. There were a few times where I was beating my head up against a wall.
One thng I didn't like about it was the fact that the so called Magic weapons didn't seem to be any better than anything else.
