Looking to spend three days in Denmark...just saw the photos of Odense...WHOA, what a remarkable city!

Other "Must-See" sites?

My sister visited our cousin in Copenhagen a couple of years ago. I could ask her if you'd like.

Copenhagen, definitely. Fantastic city to visit in the summer...I was working in Denmark and had a free weekend that was easily filled up with Copenhagen alone.

Yeah I am flying in to Copenhagen...taking a Baltic cruise,...returning and spending two-three days following the scent of Beowulf, and some of Shakespeare's villains.

I guess what will throw me off is distances/timing & when sites are open.

Euro accepted? or cash in & buy some Krone?

Is the beach a bitter wasteland at that latitude?
Definitely killing a day in Odense!

Thanks for the advice,...whatever can be shared. (I think the cruise site has some very savvy travelers who can pitch in their two Krone.)

Denmark kept their krone...but euros are easily used most places. Denmark has some beautiful shoreline and beaches...and a very pleasant summer climate.
